Want to know a secret?

PR plays a key role in raising company profiles, setting out what they stand for and attracting and retaining customers. We can set you apart from your competitors by positioning you as thought leaders in your field. In short, we help build your reputation and your reputation builds your business.

Want to know a secretThat’s only part of the story though and that’s where internal communications or employee communications comes in. Your employees can be your secret weapon. They talk to, and meet, your customers every day. They are the voice and face of the business and it is important that they are involved in and understand the businesses aims and objectives. Hearing from an employee can really cement a message in the customer’s mind and by contrast, an off-message employee can undo lots of good work from your PR campaign.

Internal communications isn’t just about broadcasting messages from on high anymore. It’s about two-way communication. It is as important to listen to the man or woman on the front line as it is the managing director or chief executive to make communications work effectively. The cleaner working away on a client site could just have the idea that could change the way you work and give you a competitive edge. Engaging with staff has also been shown to increase staff retention and boost morale.

So what do you need to do? As you’d probably expect, there’s no off the shelf solution. Every business is different and the best option varies depending on things like the number of staff and locations you have just for starters.

If you’d like more information about internal communication we’d be happy to help.
