CBI news update

CBI's new mascot, 'Fatboy'
CBI’s new mascot, ‘Fatboy’

It’s been a busy few months for CBI since our last newsletter. In addition to our core on-going work for clients, there have been some significant developments, so here’s an up-date:

• Team members Michelle Eastty (Senior PR Account Manager) and Emma Fleetwood-Jones (Editorial Manager) have become Accredited Practitioners with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR)

• CBI attended some highly informative and interesting events – the End of Waste Conference and London Conference, both organised by EMG Media; and the CIWM Cardiff Conference – lots of thought provoking ideas on recycling and waste management from some inspiring speakers

• Ceris Burns has taken on a new role with the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners (WCEC), helping to guide the marketing and communications for this highly respected and long-established Livery Company

• Ceris has also been asked to take part in a review of the University of Brighton’s MSc in Marketing course

• Meet ‘Fatboy’, CBI PR’s new mascot – isn’t he a beauty! He’s earned his nickname because of his love of food – but we’re searching for a proper name for him. Email your suggestions to info@cbipr.com and we’ll announce the winner in the next newsletter!
