SoundPLAN present pioneering advancements for indoor and outdoor noise analysis at DAS | DAGA 2025

SoundPLAN, a leading international developer of noise simulation software, is presenting its latest advancements for noise prediction and control at the acoustics conference DAS | DAGA 2025. Taking place from March 17-20, 2025, at the Bella Center, Copenhagen, Denmark, the SoundPLAN team are looking forward to welcoming visitors to their stand (B3-16). The stand will also host a section for Sarooma, your partner for easy room acoustic planning.

This 51^st annual event is the first joint annual meeting of the German and Danish Acoustical Societies, DEGA and DAS. The conference, covering all aspects of acoustics, is organized by DEGA, DAS, and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), in collaboration with the Danish Sound Cluster. The event features an extensive range of expert presentations, technical workshops, and an exhibition highlighting the latest products and services.

Attendees exploring the exhibition space can find out more about SoundPLAN’s comprehensive range of noise prediction software, its consulting services and expert noise reports. This includes the latest edition of its industry-leading software for indoor and outdoor noise analysis, SoundPLANnoise version 9.1. Designed for creating high-quality noise surveys, from standard investigations to special tasks, this update incorporates a range of new features and software enhancements to model levels and dispersion of noise and help prevent its harmful effects.

The team will also showcase the update to SoundPLANessential noise-mapping software, version 6.0. This is designed for standard noise reports for smaller-scale developments or occasional projects.

Additionally, the team will present the newest version of the Sarooma DesktopApp 2.5.1 and a preview of a new reverberation time measurement app for mobile devices, launching soon.

Noise management at open-air events

 SoundPLAN is contributing to technical developments designed to help address the challenges of noise pollution at various frequencies at open-air events. Collaboratively, industry leaders d&b audiotechnik, L-Acoustics and SoundPLAN are developing a groundbreaking standardized exchange format between loudspeaker manufacturers’ sound system planning software and noise pollution software. This SDE (System Design Exchange) format will facilitate an easy exchange of information between sound systems engineers and environmental acousticians, for accurate acoustic simulations.
