Cromwell Polythene launches redesigned PPE disposable gloves range at the Cleaning Show 2019, Stand C27

Cromwell Polythene, specialists in sacks, bags and speciality products for the storage and collection of waste and recyclables is launching a re-designed version of its Wave® range of disposable gloves at the Cleaning Show, 19-21 March 2019.

Visitors to Stand C27 will be able to sample the versatile gloves which have new, eye-catching packaging and a fresh logo that better promotes the products’ environmental and performance credentials.

The quality gloves are suitable for most cleaning applications and are food safe, which means they are highly effective for sanitising requirements within food contact areas. The personal protective equipment (PPE) is both latex and powder free, helping to minimise the occurrence of skin irritation. They provide the comfort and performance attributes of latex, but at a lower cost and without the allergy issues with which the material is often associated.

Options available include a blue nitrile examination glove which has strong barrier properties and has high resistance to oils, fats and chemicals; synthetic examination gloves; and vinyl general purpose gloves. The Wave® range also includes disposable aprons and water-soluble strip laundry bags.

The gloves are packed in a way that they are dispensed ‘cuff first’ which has clear hygienic advantages, helping to minimise contamination of equipment or the environment. They have been tested in accordance with European PPE Directive 89/686/EEC (cat1) low risk. The synthetic and vinyl gloves conform to European Standard EN555 (part 1 and 2) and EN374 (part 2 and 3). All three types of glove meet EN420, EN388 and ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.

Also on display will be its lightweight LowCO2t™ range, which uses less material to achieve the same performance standards as conventional recycling sacks, and are packaged in smaller cartons. This means the volume of plastic used is minimised, as are the carbon emissions during production and transport. Less storage space is required too.

Paul Fleetwood, Sales Director at Cromwell Polythene said: “The re-designed gloves add to an already highly successful range. Our full offering, available on our new look website for 2019, is proof that we are building on a heritage of trust to provide high-quality products. These are designed to make the lives of the professional cleaning industry, easier whilst making the world cleaner, greener and more economical.”
