Airdri expands its range of air purifiers to support coronavirus recovery

Airdri Ltd, a leading designer and manufacturer of hand dryers, has extended its range of Air Purifiers, following the COVID-19 outbreak.

Following the launch of its washroom purifier earlier this year, the hygiene equipment specialist has added two additional models to its range to provide infection control in a wider range of public and private settings.

Each unit provides the most advanced virus and bacteria control technology of its kind. It kills 98.11% of surface and airborne bacteria, including the coronavirus family, 24/7, 365 days a year.

The new Air Purifier PMA unit is suitable for larger areas of continuous occupation, such as open plan offices, large work areas and shops. It can cover an area of up to 80 sq m, lifting hygiene standards and protecting people from harmful viruses and bacteria.

The PSA unit is ideal for more sensitive settings such as care homes, medical surgeries and waiting rooms, cafes, and salons. This unit is completely silent, covering smaller areas of continuous occupation of up to 20 sq m. The unit not only improves air quality, but it also eliminates odours and mould.

Mike Smith joined Airdri as Commercial Manager in March this year. He says: “If the past few months have taught us anything, it is that infection control and hygiene is vital to our health and well-being. COVID-19 is still at large and can survive on surfaces for many hours, even days. As businesses, support services, and public places continue to ease out of lockdown, it has never been more important to ensure that they have the facilities in place to combat the virus.

Of course, the washroom has always been a priority when it comes to hygiene which is why we launched our washroom purifier earlier this year. But in today’s world, it’s important to protect staff and visitors in other areas too so we have expanded our range of air purifiers to reflect this. We now have units to suit a range of settings beyond the washroom, from offices and medical surgeries to care homes, restaurants and bars.”
