The role:

You will be responsible for the day to day management of a number of prestigious B2B PR accounts and act as the central touch point for a portfolio of International and UK clients through UK & International media. Your role will cover campaigns that span media relations, brand reputation, community engagement, crisis communication, internal communication and online and social media. From day one you will ‘hit-the-ground-running’. No day will ever be the same.

Key responsibilities:

• Creation and implementation of national & international B2B PR and communications strategies to enhance client brands.
• Client account management and business development.
• Media relations and copywriting of press releases, features, columns, newsletters & brochures.
• Management of community engagement initiatives.
• Involvement in CBI’s business development drive from research, pitch and beyond.
• Development and enhancement of client and media relations.
• Attending client meetings, industry events and exhibitions.

Key skills:

• Extensive PR planning, writing and account handling experience in a national & international B2B environment.
• First class communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work with diplomacy.
• A proactive nature and ‘can do’ attitude/approach.
• Experience of account development or sales.
• Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Creative skills with the ability to influence the media.
• Experience in environmental: recycling/waste management plus one of cleaning, security, FM, property or healthcare markets.
• CIPR or similar degree level PR qualification.
• International language skills an advantage.
